Art made for the exhibition The Perfect Fit: Shoes Tell Stories held in 2009/2010 at the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton, Massachusetts was to explore how shoes express ideas about gender, history, sexuality, race, class, and culture. Using an adapted shoe stretcher and a collection of watercolors of shoes, this book considers the connection between the names of personality traits with the names of shoes such as spectator, sneaker, clown, loafer, etc.
